First off Merry Christmas to all who celebrate.. We’ve been busy eating, spending time with family, and all things gifts.
This morning after chris and I had our own quiet christmas morning I walked the dogs (we are watching one of her friends for a couple days) to the park and let them run. Luckily we had the park to ourselves, hopefully that will be the trend for our visits. Luna is finally out of heat so I can get back to letting her run. yay! Anyway, we had some fun in the big snowfall a couple days ago.. Just wanted to share a shot from that day. I will probably post more as I get them together. But here is one for now.
I love this shot.. one of my favorite to date.. may find a way to work one of these shots into a new header.. for the snowy season we’re having. Anyway, that is all for now, time for bed.
Hope you all have safe and happy holidays and new year.
this is a great shot…i love running dog photos!
Good photo and far more snow than us!
Hi Anna,
What an awesome shot of Luna! – we love those ears-a-flying moments of Vizsla exuberance…thanks so much for your comment on our blog and sorry not to respond sooner, we’ve not had much to update with whilst Phoenix has had her season…we too have snow here in the UK, but nothing on your scale, which is probably a good thing as all the roads close here at the slightest hint of a flurry!
Anyhow, we’re loving Luna and your/her blog – Phoenix was very nearly named Luna, it was one of the top 3 names we chose between, definitely a great Vizsla name, and one that shared by a number of European Vizslas too.
Have fun and keep warm!!
Tim & Adam.
Thanks for stopping by.. glad you are enjoying the blog. That snow shot is such a classic shot for a vizsla, ears flyin’. I never knew there were so many vizsla’s named Luna.. or even dogs.. but I have heard of quite a few, kinda surprised me. How is Phoenix doing?
We have gone from snow to insane wind and cold.. I don’t know how cold it gets there but wind chills causing single digits is reeally cold for us. Keeping Luna inside today (for my sake), so far she has complied quite well.
Take care
