Well, I wanted to post this yesterday, but time flew past.. so here is a brief run down of Luna’s last day of 2009…
It was a busy day, I woke up and made a real breakfast..
Puffed pancake fresh out of oven
Made myself a puffed pancake.. then comes the butter, lime juice and powdered sugar
ready to eat..
Then once both our bellies were full we drove to the arboretum to trek around, in hopes of wearing Luna out.. It worked.. there was lots of trotting/running around in the fields.. finding big rocks..

But sadly, from what I could tell.. there was nothing. But she did manage to track down a rabbit.. Think it’s one of the first she managed to actually find at the end of her searching. I think normally they move off too soon. I would love to train her to hunt rabbits eventually.. But lack a good location to do so, that promises actual finds.
We spent 2 hours walking around that place.. with little idea of what actual trails I was taking. But we both enjoyed it, it was nice to get out.. Good way to spend the last day of the year in my opinion. And needless to say she was quite tuckered out after that. I have a feeling you shall see much more of that place, as it’s one of the few “wild” places I am allowed to take her off leash. It shall be our new trekking hot spot I think.
