So, I have taken on another Vizsla.. Luna’s half brother (same mother, different dad), Sam Adams (aka Sam, Sammy, Stinker) will be staying with us until Wednesday sometime. Honestly, I thought there would be a lot more playing going on since he is an 8 month old puppy, but they are both content to nap on the couch with us most the day. Granted I have run them at the Arboretum every day since I’ve had him for about 45 min.. So maybe that’s just enough for them. Who knows, but I’m ok with them just chillin’ together, sharing bones (well swapping) sharing deer antlers and wiggles… I shall spare you a long winded post about him and save all that for his mom. But if this is an independence building week (he has an older brother he lives with whom he doesn’t like to be away from) then independence he is building and has been fitting in quite well at the house. Anyway, some photos. I’m sure you will be able to see the similarities.. He is quite a bit bigger than her (and only 8 months old, verses her 2 years).

It currently has been snowing since about 11AM.. it’s not almost 6PM… and it is not going to stop anytime soon. Can’t wait to see what we wake up to. Right now I think I shall feed the pups and suit up and go shovel around the cars. At least tomorrow it will be 6 inches less than what it could have been. Then I will grab a bite to eat and see about heading to the cemetary with the pups for a night run! exciting! Let’s hope the walk there is short and uneventful. And I apologize but the camera shall stay home. I will have too much to manage keeping track of the glow-stick collared dogs that will be zooming past.
