Well, big changes around here (for once)… There is a new member of the family.. whether Luna likes it or not, I think he’s pretty much here to stay.
Meet __________ (name suggestions welcome)
He is a little devil… and I mean that in a good way. He is totally full of himself, confident to a fault, and already wants to hang with the big dogs.
First contact with a Chukar, and it was a hefty one, probably weighed nearly as much as him. Didn’t slow him down a bit.. can you say bold?
Amazing what genes can do.. As I said, he is a rather confident, independent boy, but I always say, I rather have to take them down a notch or two, than build them up. He had a little contact with Luna this morning (both on leash) and she was trying to play with him a bit… then he got a little too interested in her backside, and standing on her, so from that point on she was a little less than thrilled.. He is too young yet to really let them play, especially with how gung ho he is. But she likes dancing around his crate with toys, and wiggling all over us (she seems to already be jealous). Should be some interesting next few weeks. He slept through the night and I went ahead and took him out this morning when chris left as he was up. Hopefully I can turn him into a non morning dog like Luna, but that comes with age.
Anyway, back to work (he decided to pass back out and snore in his crate), just thought I would share. More pictures to come, and there is still one boy left, shall post photos of him later.
We’re still trying to decide on a name, suggestions welcome 🙂

Ok, his head color is a bit darker then the body, looks like copper so how about Cooper? I tend to like human type names, Gus, Scooter(not human but I like it), Jake, Spencer, Gunner(not human again).
What does Chris think of when he looks at him or plays with him?
He looks like an Enzo to me! Good looking pup…you really do have your hands ful now 🙂
For a high energy dog I like “Octane.” Great field trial Vizsla by that name. The dog has to fit the name. Butt-head is good though if he is that full of himself.
