Happy (belated) new year!
Luna is looking forward to January 9th in particular.. when she gets to bust out of the kennel (as her heat will technically be over). Actually it hasn’t been so bad for her lately. She has been able to get out every day to play in the yard a bit. She has been driving the boys nuts the past couple days but that should end soon hopefully. She is such a little flirt too, any time she sees the boys being let out she starts crying and screaming. Little stinker.
Today she got out and we worked on her being steady while I launched the bumpers for her. I don’t know why, but she goes insane for them. She is coming along on the whole “whoa” command thing. I can’t wait till she is ready to have more birds in front of her.
She has shows coming up shortly after she comes out of heat, and more after that. Hopefully she kicks some butt. I hope to visit a hunt test this weekend and at least get back in the groove as a spectator, I most likely will leave Luna at home. Speaking of home, my husband is home from goose hunting so I’m going to call it a night.
